Special Detail - Army Sgt. Durkin of the 82nd Airborne

On Saturday May 23rd the PMFD will assist the Warriors Watch Riders as they escort members of the 82nd Airborne to the final resting place of Sgt. Durkin in Easton. Sgt. Durkin was killed in Action during Operation Enduring Freedom (War with Afghanistan) back in 2010. The members of the 82nd Airborne never had the opportunity to pay their respects to Sgt. Durkin and his family until now. A precession will be leaving the Marriot Hotel in Bethlehem Township and heading down Freemansburg Ave on its way to Easton.

We invite everyone to join the PMFD the 23rd at approximately 10:15 and line Freemansburg Ave. and pay respect to Sgt. Durkin, and his fellow soldiers of the 82nd Airborne, for their service provided to our Country.
