Kennedy signed a proclamation which designated May 15 as Peace Officers Memorial Day and the week in which that date falls as Police Week. In honor of police week the members of PMFD would like to take a moment to thank all current and retired police officers for your service to communities near and far.
We would also like to give a special thank you to the members of Palmer Township Police Department, and 4 members of PMFD who served and currently serve as police officers: Scott LaBar (retired PA State Trooper and Fire Marshal), Corporal John Zwally (Bushkill Police Department), Sergeant Marc Crisafulli (Wilson Police Department) and Patrolman Kenny McPherson (Palmer Township Police Department).
